Now, that's not a license for you to skip core work. There are numerous health benefits to having a nice strong core (aside from making those abs look AWESOME), so you still need to do the work.
And when I say "you", I mean we. My core strength is still a work in progress, so rather than me demo the moves that will make it hurt to laugh, I'm going to leave it to my homeboy, Tony (I kinda love this guy).
