My dreams came true during the Running Brook Elementary 5th grade talent show, circa 1986. Carolyn Bradford, I, and some other little girls (sorry, I'm sure you were awesome, whoever you are) decided, we would be The Bangles. I don't remember much outside of big hair and mini skirts, but I'm so sure we rocked it!
We probably did Walk Like An Egyptian, but my all time favorite Bangles jam is Hazy Shade of Winter. No disrespect to Simon and Garfunkel, but the Bangles version was and is AWESOME SAUCE. I still can't listen to it without air drumming!
