Before I get into today's TTMT topic, I just want to commend you for last week's response. I can imagine it may be a little strange bearing your thoughts to the world wide web, but several of you did just that. I am so grateful that you chose to be part of the conversation! This week I encourage you to take it a step further - leave your comment here on the blog, rather than on my Facebook page, so our cyber friends can feel empowered to do the same. Don't be scurred! It's all love here!
Actually, that is a great tie into today's topic, "Ya like to read, don't ya?"
I assume that you enjoy what you're doing at the moment (unless you're being forced to read my blog as some sort of cruel punishment or lesson in run-on sentences). And I also assume that you may find it enjoyable to read along with others, providing a community with which to discuss the book. Given those assumptions, how would you feel about doing a virtual book club/study with me? More than likely the books will be faith based, but please don't feel like you'd need to be some sort of bible scholar to participate. I like books that are conversational, but point me to truth/God's word and prompt growth in my relationship with Christ. And while I can't guarantee that every book will resonate with every participant, I think it will be fun to do as a virtual community.
